Bullyproof Australia Limited (ACN 94 782 533 018), trading as Bullyproof Australia (“We”, “Us”, or “Our”), is committed to protecting the privacy of school communities, educators, and visitors. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our website, Learning Management System, and classroom portal (collectively, the “Service”), in compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. Platform Architecture and Scope of Data Collection
We practice strict data minimisation across our digital ecosystems to safeguard user privacy.
- Teacher Learning Management System (LMS): An online training environment for educators. We only collect the first name, last name, and school-issued email address of registered schoolteachers to create accounts and track course completion.
- Classroom Delivery Portal: A teacher-led presentation tool used to display lessons to students. This portal acts as a one-way delivery system. It does not require student log-ins, does not track individual student engagement, and does not collect any individual student personal data, names, identifiers, tracking data, or student work.
- School-Level Metrics and Impact Data: To measure the real-world effectiveness of our Amayda Program, we collect broad, anonymous, school-wide numerical metrics. This includes the total number of students in each school class, and high-level school data such as total numbers of behaviour incidents, suspensions, exclusions, and overall attendance rates. We do not collect any personal details, names, narratives, descriptions of specific incidents, or any personally identifiable data related to these metrics.
- Automatically Collected Data: We collect basic technical information (such as IP addresses, browser type, device information, and log-in timestamps) strictly from active user sessions to ensure platform security, prevent fraudulent access, and maintain service performance.
2. How We Use and Share Your Data
Bullyproof Australia uses and shares the collected information strictly for the following purposes:
- Service Delivery: To provision, manage, and secure user accounts, and to facilitate the functional delivery of lessons via the classroom portal.
- Programme Evaluation: To evaluate and analyse the impact of our Amayda Program across participating schools using a pre- and post-programme evaluation model.
- Government and Funding Reporting: As an organisation funded by government grants, we provide milestone, compliance, and impact reports to relevant government departments and funding bodies (both state and federal). These reports may list participating school names alongside their aggregate behavioural data, statistical results, and impact metrics to demonstrate program effectiveness. We strictly do not disclose or list individual teacher names or teacher contact emails in these reports.
- Support and Maintenance: To deliver technical support and maintain platform performance.
- Legal Obligations: We may disclose personal information if required or authorised to do so by law, including compliance with court orders, tribunals, or valid requests by law enforcement bodies.
- No Commercialisation: We do not sell, rent, trade, or use school-supplied data to market external products, nor do we utilise any collected information to train artificial intelligence models.
3. Data Storage and Technical Service Providers
To support the delivery, hosting, and operation of our Service, we engage a limited number of trusted core infrastructure providers. These providers act strictly as data processors on our behalf, are contractually required to implement appropriate security controls, and are prohibited from using or retaining your data for their own independent purposes.
Our primary data infrastructure partners are:
· Microsoft Azure
4. Data Retention and Deletion
- Retention: We retain teacher account data and associated school metrics only for as long as the participating school remains active with our programmes or to satisfy government funding compliance retention periods.
- Immediate Destruction upon Request: All school accounts, teacher details, and aggregate school metrics will be permanently and securely deleted from our live servers and backup systems immediately upon a school’s formal request.
5. Tracking Technologies and Cookies
Our website and Service utilise necessary and functional cookies to retain active log-in sessions and remember user preferences. We do not use cross-site tracking cookies, third-party marketing pixels, or targeted advertising scripts. Users can disable cookies through their web browser settings, though doing so may impact certain operational functionalities of the platform.
6. Your Rights and Contact Information
Under the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to access, update, correct, or request the immediate deletion of any personal information we hold about you.
